7 For All Mankind makes a spectacular debut on the catwalk
NEW YORK FASHION WEEK
Last Friday evening, 7 For All Mankind presented its first catwalk show under new Creative Director Nicola Brognano. He presented a bold and fresh collection, ready to open a new chapter in the brand's history. Denim remained at the heart of the show, with skinny jeans catching the eye, complemented by eye-catching knitwear, jackets, dresses and accessories. The looks exuded rebel chic, with a perfect blend of casual elegance, rock 'n' roll energy and bohemian flair.
Brognano was inspired by women like Mary-Kate Olsen, Kate Moss and Sienna Miller circa 2005-2006: super-chic, but with that confident, effortless attitude that makes the collection so powerful.
"She is a rebel, a rich girl. She can go out in the morning and come back the day after wearing the same outfit, with a Starbucks cup in her hand and a bracelet from the club the night before.” says Brognano of the new 7 For all mankind woman.
The looks combined skinny jeans with the iconic 'Sevens' motif, high leather boots, oversized blazers with brooches and layered scarves. For those who love dresses, there were large minis in jersey, satin and leather, styled with black tights and high heels. The style was reminiscent of the off-duty supermodels walking the streets of New York or London in the early 2000s, which applies perfectly to today's modern woman.
Chloë Sevigny, the face of the current SS26 campaign, sat in the front row and embodied the rebel-chic vibe of the collection. According to the press, this collection reaffirms 7 For All Mankind's position as a benchmark ready-to-wear denim brand, with rave reviews from all quarters.

As well as denim, the looks included chunky knits, oversized pea coats, cocoon biker jackets and elegant little dresses paired with funky Victorian jewellery and punky leather bracelets. Accessories such as long leather gloves, oversized weekend bags and Ray-Ban Wayfarers completed the ensemble, as if Brognano's wife was strolling from catwalk to catwalk with effortless cool.
The show took place in the imposing Starrett-Lehigh building, whose darkened windows underlined the woman's strength and confidence. Brognano's vision: a wardrobe that combines inner-city rebellion and uptown luxury, sexy and wearable at the same time, perfect for a new generation of denim lovers.
